This property is one of the most remarkable manor houses of Sikinos, both historically and architecturally. It is located in the traditional settlement of Chorio, one of the best-preserved villages in the Cyclades, known for its fully restored houses, some over four hundred years old. Chorio is distinguished by the coexistence of five architectural styles that together define its authentic Cycladic and traditional character.
This specific manor is the largest house in Sikinos, with a total area of 410 sq.m. and a history of approximately 200 years. It once belonged to a prominent family of the island and is structured across three levels: the ground floor (formerly a stable), the first floor (servants’ quarters), and the second floor (main family residence). The first and second levels are built in the Cycladic architectural style, while the upper floor features neoclassical elements.
The property requires complete reconstruction. However, its unique characteristics and historical value make it one of the most distinctive traditional properties in the Cyclades.
